FAQ/INFO [PLEASE READ]

thank you so much for visiting my shop; i hope you'll find something you'd like to buy! and thank you again tenfold for clicking this page!

below are PSAs and answers to some common questions regarding the shop and orders - please read them carefully. i'm sorry it's so wordy but i promise it's pertinent!

PSA

PLEASE make sure your details and address that you input at checkout are complete and correct! if in doubt, forego abbreviations and double check spelling etc. - i cannot be responsible for mislaid orders due to incorrect addresses.

if orders are undelivered and returned to me due to this, and should you wish to attempt a redelivery, i would have to charge shipping fees again to cover the cost.

please also make sure the email address you input is one you access and check regularly, as it's where your order and shipping confirmations will be sent, and the one i will have to use to contact you in case the above situation happens!

where is my order shipping from?

orders ship from the UK!


what are the shipping fees?

the shipping fees are flat-rate and are as follows:

UK: £2.50 (second class)
International (untracked): £8.00
Australia, NZ, and Singapore (untracked): £9.00 (i'm sorry, y'all are just.. so far away from me ;_;)

for orders including ONLY flat items such as stickers and prints etc., the shipping rates are slightly lower.

these prices are liable to change without notice, as i keep them in line with fluctuating postal service prices. please keep checking back from time to time to see if they have changed and updated!

the default service is Standard NON-TRACKED. this is to reduce delivery costs for those who don't mind the postal risks. please add the "tracked shipping" option to your cart if you would like me to send your order with tracking!

since these are flat rates, i would recommend ordering multiple items so it's better value!

i cannot predict or control whether your package will be subject to customs duties/tax. they are not levied by me, and it's the customer's responsibility to pay them if required. please research your own country's postal customs procedures so that you're informed and aware!

 

when will my order ship?

during on-hand stock periods, i ship orders in bi-weekly bulks. if you happen to place an order on shipping day, it may either get posted then, or it may get pushed to the following shipping day.

i will not be holding as many pre-order periods anymore since they are a little too stressful and unpredictable - but just in case: for pre-order periods, it can take several months or more until orders are processed and shipped. during that time i am ordering the merch stock and supplies, awaiting their production, and then packing orders by hand.

i'm very grateful for your patience! i'm just one person organising every part of the process, but i always endeavour to pack every order with care and as much efficiency as possible.

 

i placed multiple orders - can i combine them?

of course - but only if i have not already shipped it out (i.e. you have already received a shipping notification email from bigcartel)! please contact me through email or the shop contact form, INCLUDING THE ORDER NUMBERS OF ALL TO BE COMBINED, and i will refund the excess shipping to you.

i try hard to keep track when things like this happen, but wherever possible please make sure you have all the items you'd like to buy in your cart before checking out!

i cannot combine orders automatically - if you place multiple orders, but do not contact me with a request to combine them, i will ship all orders separately.

 

how long will my order take to arrive?

it will depend!

UK domestic orders should take around 2-3 working days, but could take up to 7 working days.

international orders are supposed to arrive in ~7 working days, but it's possible it could take up to a few weeks, or even more, especially if you are aware your order is being posted to a country with delayed/extensive customs control.

if you added tracking to your order, it is likely to reach you faster, although this is in no way a guarantee.

 

how can i track my order?

if you specified that your order be shipped with tracking, usually you can enter the tracking number, found in the shipping confirmation email, into your local postal service website's item tracking page, or you can use royal mail's track and trace page.

if you did not add tracking to your order, your package does not have a tracking number.

 

my order has shipped but i haven't received it?

please understand postal mishaps are entirely out of my control. if possible, try checking with your local postal services first.

otherwise, please wait another couple of weeks to see if it will pop up - it could have been delayed in customs, or perhaps you weren't home to receive and sign for it, in which case mail services may take a while to attempt redelivery.

if it really doesn't seem likely to arrive after that, do contact me either through my shop contact form, or through email - [email protected] - INCLUDING YOUR ORDER NUMBER, and i'll try to work something out with you!

 

what do you use to pack orders?

i usually use bubble mailers made with purportedly recycled and mostly recyclable materials! i try to use paper bags for inner packaging, and tend to reuse spare cellophane bags wherever possible. acrylic charms often have a protective film already so i leave them be. the presentation maybe isn't always amazing, but i'm hoping to avoid wasting materials!

 

what is your returns policy?

please note all purchases are final. i cannot accept cancellations after i have shipped your order.

if there's a mistake with your order that was my fault, e.g. incorrect item(s), i will be happy to accommodate a return/exchange, or even just send you the correct items free of charge.

if an item arrives irreparably damaged, please contact me via email at [email protected], including photos of the broken item, plus your order number, and we can work something out. 

i'll always try to package things safely, but unfortunately sometimes postal services take that as a direct challenge.
